Mavs#1

Sorry, I LOVE the Mavs but nothing has changed yet for this team in my eyes. I live in Detroit and hate the Pistons with a passion, but when it comes down to it the Pistons have IT and the Mavs dont yet. Not to say they cant get IT after game 7 this year or next, but right now its the same old Mavs. I know this is the Spurs and we all thought this series would probably go to 7 when it started, but the plays ran in game 1,5, and now 6 were bad. The only team I can compare this team to right now is the Blazers of the late 80's and early 90's that just couldnt get over the hump. Im not a troll and Im sure ill get ripped but I have felt all season this is our year and im sick of the pistons im mad and now its late and im rambling.

I'm not sure I can (take it anymore) either. These guys have some growing up to do, imo. The advantage of a younger, more athletic team is negated when that team is caught in a crucial, last minute battle of wills with an older, more experienced bunch like the Spurs.

The Mavs have won a few of those battles to date, but the pressure is increasing late in this series, and we'll see who has the most composure. Maybe they will grow up.
