First of all,
I'm going to get this part out of the way. Nothing is like being at a playoff game in the bottom section (104 so I got really really see the mavs players very well in the second half) and having fans all over the place cheering and booing. Especially when it's the mavs and the spurs
Finley was booed everytime he touched the ball and entered/exited the game.
Devin harris was booed and cursed by alllllllllllllllllot of fans last night. He really played like trash. He blew about 4 wide open layups and played timid for most of the game although a few of his drives could have had foul calls.
Stack didn't show up in the second half at all. Neither did no one really. Josh had 9 points in the first quarter. He ended up with 17.
One of the things that bothered me last night was avery's refusal to play DIOP last night. he chose to go with van horn and I think that cost the mavs. I don't mind him playing in dirk's spot but we just didn't have the interior defense or presence we needed in the paint in the fourth quarter because of that.
Once again the refs were horrid. Seeing all of the missed calls live just made me want to puke. T.V really does it no justice (lol). I honestly think the mavs got the short end of the stick last night and in game 5 but the fact remains that the mavs should have won game 5 and ended it there.
It was really cool to see the love J.T. got. Most of the front row was filled with "31" jerseys or shirts and they gave away a j.t jersey via text message contest.
I honestly think j.t feels like crap man. WIth him out there, the mavs win this game.
THe mavs need to adjust. Pop has went to guarding finley on dirk and puttin bowen on howard and it's been fairly effective. Dirk isn't even trying to punish fin the way he should because fin's defense is horrid.
Bowen vs Josh has been a dog fight. They were going at it all night on the mavs offense side of the floor.
Devin had no points, no dimes (nothing but turnovers) for like 3 quarters. God he stunk last night.
Absolute trash. Stack wasn't much better except for the first quarter.
It was cool to see Emmitt Smith at the game too. They announced him during a timeout and he stood up and got a standing O from the crowd.
I spent most of the night standing up. If you didn't stand up and clap, you spent most of the night staring at the big screens around the arena cause fans were standing up cheering, yelling, booing and complaining about the refs all night.
I wish we would have won last night. The arena would have ERUPTED and now the spurs have momentum and homecourt advantage in game 7.
The mavs need to just blow the spurs out in game 7 because if it's close I don't think they will get the calls needed because the spurs are full of experienced vets who know how to get those calls and the mavs are alot younger than the spurs.
Game six was a horrible loss. For most of the game the fans were cheering and then when finley hit that 3 late in the fourth, the arena just went silent. You heard this big "awwwwwwwwwwwwww" and then the crowd was silent.
I had fun though. WOulda been better if we won the game. And once again I was in section 104. It was right across from the spurs bench. I really got to get a good look at that bad "three" that dirk shot at the end of the game.

He was right in front of me
