Although he hasn't started negotiations, Mavericks owner Mark Cuban said Monday that he plans to give Don Nelson what he wants: a contract to coach for the next three seasons.


He has done great things for this organazation and I believe that Nelson deserves the contract negotiation-do you?

Nelson should of got more votes for Coach of the Year, the combination of Cuban and Nelson is great for the players. A good coach with an owner who is all about his team and the players.

As long as Nelson doesn't get trade happy again I like him in Dallas.

Obi-Wan Nowitzki

Whether its in the front office (3 years left) or a coaching position, the Mavs need Nelson to stay. I thought that the play was to let Nellie Jr. take over the team next year, though.
