I honestly see Dirk leveling out this season. Not saying its a bad thing, what more can he possibly do? Hes improved in every single aspect of his game. It falls on his counterparts

So why didn't he mention his father's surgery last spring? Last week, The News arranged for a follow-up interview to ask him.
Nowitzki's affability disappeared. Clearly, he was disappointed.
"Let's not even write about it," he said.
It was pointed out that a couple of people in his inner circle had already discussed it, saying that Dirk had arranged to have Jörg brought here to get the best care.
this is why I could never be a reporter...

Why did I want to trade Dirk for KG a few years ago? That very thing. The Mavs would be scary if the player they ran their offense through had another dimension to his game - the one that makes everyone dangerous.
This is why the offense appears so stagnant at times.
