Kidd his stats looked good but only two points? Being a Nets fan im used to him not scoring but two points?? You better hope it gets up to at least 10 a game. But that is a good number

Honestly, I don't really mind the fact that he only scored two points. He obviously influenced everyone else to pass the ball, and I would rather have the team get 32 assists than Kidd have 2 points. I'm sure his shot will come sooner rather than later

His scoring might not reach double figures, his percentages should go up. It would be nice if he could make shots when he is open, but I expect him to pass even more now that he has so many good shooters on the team, it's a matter of sorting things out and adjusting the offensive gameplan before we really know what this team is going to look like.

I like the fact that he only took 4 shots. He shouldn't ever really attempt more then 6 unless hes on fire. just enough so the D cant play off him and has to collapse on him if he penetrates.He always seems to draw 3 people when he drives. On a team full of shooters its beautiful. My brother was worried that we wouldn't have anybody to slash or bang. Seems like everyone is starting to slash and bang.

Which would be a thing of beauty if they could keep that up, Kidd will find the shooters, it's up to everyone to be more active on offense instead of standing around and waiting for someone else to shoot the ball with one second on the clock.

Now they just need a us against the world mentality and the team will be fine

Kidd had what 15 assists? He doesn't have to score for Dallas to be successful his presence and passing ability makes this team better.

This is true, but if Dallas wants to win a championship he will have to make open shots, the good teams will force him to shoot on more occasions than he wants to. His primary focus will be to get easy shots for everyone else, but he needs to shoot a higher percentage than he did with the Nets or it will negate some of his strengths.

Yeah he does but I think being surrounded by some of the players you have will greatly increase his chances of doing this. We will see though.

You can't teach basketball IQ and court vision. I'd sacrifice a few points for both of them on any given night.
