You should also read the rest of the article or at least the Dallas part, it's definitely worthy to check out.
To go back on topic, was Avery really pulling something out of his bag or was it really a game time decision ? Does it even matter and can't we just trick us into the thought that Avery was playing mind games ?
On a side note, it would also be cool if someone else than me would create threads, I don't like the idea of reading my name on the left side every single time

I really do think Dirk was a game time decision. At least in Dallas, reports pop on constantly on "Dirk practiced this morning." "Dirk rules himself out for tonight's game after practice." It was actually quite dramatic in Dallas yesterday on ESPN radio.
Even if Nellie didn't know if Dirk will play, he at least KNEW Dirk was activated for the game, and there is a chance he'll play. Nobody knew how many minutes he'd play or how effective he'd be, but Nellie should know Dirk would be in uniform, and that should be enough...
Oh yeah, I also failed to mention that AJ is simply not smart enough to pull a stunt like this over Nellie. Nellie is the master at playing these mental games...
On your side note, I like seeing your name next to all these threads.
