I personally think some color calibration setting on your computer has gone haywire for some strange reason.
As NT stated, porn would sometimes produce color calibration problems, but it's usually your eyes failing to do the job....
For kicks, print a copy of your avatar and see if the printout has red fro.

is this a new monitor and if not do you notice this around alot of darker images? I know older flatscreens have probs displaying black and darker colors. a virus wouldnt effect jpgs and such, so yea its prolly the monitor or gfx card.

I'm going with a new monitor; everything's perfect as far as graphics and text, just those red streaks.
