Hard to watch
Sometimes It's really hard to watch carmelo anthony. He didn't do much for the team today against the suns. If I were in coach Karl's position, I'd bench him too, again, the nuggets almost came back without him, losing only because nash is well the mvp...
Look at Kmart, he played with a knee and really gave it all he had despite the pain. he was incredible with those 5 steals. I'll never question kmart's heart. waht's anthony doing though? i know he's only a 2nd yr player, and understandably he's going through his slump, but he's just so .. inconsistent. He puts on a few okay stretches (against sub 500 teams) and then against the 2 "best" teams he falters.
Sorry I'm just a frustrated that he hasn't developed as much as say wade a nd lebron have in their 2nd year. Carmelo didn't deserve to be an all-star this year, and even after all star break his play doesnt merit him all-star status. I would be hard-pressed to even call him the star of this team since it seems to do Better without him at stretches. If we'd gotten some more stops tonite, tonite's game wouldve been another come-from-behind 4th quarter win guaranteed.
I'm also disappointed that all of denver's bigs are once again injured. yeah, shawn marion just had to return today when we lose camby (nene still out) and martin hobbled. obviously we really needed a center. elson was in foul trouble the whole game. if nene or camby had played in this game im betting that we wouldve won.
who thinks that carmelo will ever become a star? u can argue that his stats show that he is at least a decent payer, but i believe that he doesnt have the attitdue of a leader yet. 2 lousy shooting games.. god carmelo, go practice your layups u shouldnt be missing so many shots from less than 5 feet... and if ppl double u, learn from lebron and pass it out now that we have perimeter threat, use it ...
