Noted NBA economics observer Dan Rosenbaum (a bbb.net poster too) has estimated that the 2005-2006 cap will be 51 million and that the 2006-2007 cap will drop to 49.4 million.

That would be fantastic news for the Nuggets if it were true. But how credible is that guy?

Very. Simply put, teams have hired him as a consultant. He is an economics professor at UNC-Greensboro and has written extensively on this topic
