Nuggets swingman Bryon Russell will be sidelined at least a month after surgery to repair a torn meniscus and a defect on the tibia of his left knee, according to the Denver Post. Russell will have surgery next week and may or may not make the Nuggets roster.

If Russell doesn't make the roster, the team still has to pay him until he is healthy enough to return to the court. Basically he's going to count against the cap so it comes down to whether or not the team has the extra roster spot to spare. Even if he was healthy he has no business being on fantasy rosters.

I kind of like B Russ. He's a good bench player a solid Small Forward that can play some defense. I'm not sure if any other Nuggets fans here care about this guy, but looks like he will be in nice dress clothes
come the start of the season.
