Well now we have our roster in order. The Nuggets have waived four players.

DENVER (AP) -- The Denver Nuggets waived centers Eric Chenowith and Nigel Dixon and forwards Mark Pope and Theron Smith on Thursday, trimming the roster ahead of next week's season-opener at San Antonio.

Pope, who played in 13 regular-season games for the Nuggets the past two seasons, averaged just 4.7 minutes per game in three preseason appearances this year. Chenowith averaged 3.8 points and 3.4 rebounds per game in five appearances.

Dixon played in two exhibition games and grabbed 13 rebounds against Washington. Smith played in two games, averaging 10.5 points and 3.5 rebounds while shooting 10-for-11 from the field.

Denver opens the season Tuesday night against the NBA champion Spurs.

CHeno get's waived every year, surprised that Pope is still hanging around.

B-Russ may be the next to go. Here is a quote by Kiki regarding Russell.
