Denver Nuggets Record After the first 10 Games

Predict here what you think the Nuggets record will look like after the first 10 games are played.

I'm going to say 8-2.

San Antonio W San Antonio L
L.A. Lakers W L.A. Lakers L
Portland W
L.A. Lakers L
Sacramento W
Sacramento W Sacramento L
Minnesota W
Dallas L
New Orleans/Okla Cty W
New York W

Well My predictions were way off. The Nuggets finish their first 10 games @ 5-5.

Re: Denver Nuggets Record After the first 10 Games

Game 1
After last nights game my prediction of the win was wrong, but we still have a chance for a 8-2 record. I will update up above with W/L in bold next to the games. Anyone else want to take a stab at the Nuggets record after 10 games?

Game 2
Unfortunately I'm adding another L to the Nuggets first 10 Games prediction list. After the Lakers beat us in over time.

Game 3
As we all witnessed the Nuggets came out like a blaze of glory smoking the Trail Blazers for our first win of the season. The win was also coupled with our head coach George Karl's return to the bench. Yeah, you could say we needed this game!

Game 4
A real let down. This game should of been pay back, but instead the Lakers made us look bad. I'm still dissapointed over this loss. Also with this loss the best possible record after 10 games could be 7-3.

Game 5
A very well played game through the first 3 quarters by the Kings And Nuggets. The Nuggets pulled away in the 4th quarter to win by a big margin. The Nuggets home court still proves to be where we play at another level.

Game 6
A dissapointing loss to the Kings. The ref's gave the Kings all the breaks, and the Nuggets had zero energy. The Nuggets put on a late charge in the 4th quarter, but didn't have enough time to make a serious difference.

Game 7
What can I say other than home sweet home. Well tonight the Nuggets came out with great energy. Also it was the first start this season for DerMarr Johnson. DJ had a a great game tonight, and I can only hope Karl stays with this starting line up + K-Mart when healthy. The Nuggets came up big and pretty much handled hte T-Wolves the entire game. A good and much needed win for the Nuggets.

p.s.
Camby was beyond incredible.

Camby stat line - 18 points 22 Rebounds and 7 Blocked Shots.

Game 8
The first real choke job of the season by the Nuggets. The Nuggets led by one point going in to over time, and came out and ran the Mavs out of the gym (Or so I thought) gaining a 19 point lead on them during the 3rd quarter. Then the Mavs came back and by the end of the 3rd quarter they were only down 8 points I believe. Through the 4th quarter the Mavs had all the momentum and took the lead from the Nuggets. The Nuggets and Mavs went back and forth during the waning moments of the game. In the end the Nuggets couldn't score anymore and the Mavs stole a win from us. Another very dissapointing loss for the Nuggets. unfortunately my prediction of a loss against the Mavs was correct.

Game 9
Melo B More! Yes he was! Great game by our Lottery Pick 3 seasons ago. Carmelo had 31 points to help lead the Nuggets to a much needed victory. Camby was Mr. double double, and our guards played great. Andre scored at will on Chris Paul, and Earl Watson made his curtain call from his first apperance. He does make a big difference. His defense is very good, and is quick as a cat. Now with this win the Nuggets are 4-5 in the first 10 games. My early prediction was way off, but if we get a Win at home against the Knicks we end up with a 500 record at 5-5.

Game 10
A good game against the Knicks to wrap up the Nuggets first 10 of the season. The Nuggets got the win, and Carmelo lead the way with 25 points. Mr. Camby came through big yet again! I had this game predicted right all along! We now have a 5-5 record.

Re: Denver Nuggets Record After the first 10 Games

Nobody else wanted to make predictions? I know it's kind of late now, but looking back on it I think a split between the Kings could of been expected. However losing to the Lakers twice to me was very unlikely and unexpected, yet happened. Hopefully the Nuggets start to turn around the season after this good and much needed win against the T-Wolves.

Does anybody want to participant in another 10 games prediction thread for the Nuggets up coming 11 - 20 games ? If not I'm going to let this thread idea die.

While things are very unpredictable right now with the unsettled injury situations and the rotations, I'll predict with you.

Alright, and I agree the Denver Nuggets season has been helter-skelter so far. I'm just hoping after the nice win against the T-Wolves this team can start to get back on track. I'm not as optimistic as I once was about the Nuggets. I felt we could really dominate this season with our starters back and a healthy Martin, Nene. Boy things change fast.

I'll be interested to see your predictions during the next 10 games. Thus far as you can see my predictions have been awful.
