This is all im saying. You put Tinsley in a Denver style offense and he will be at his best offensively. He could get the ball going like a "Steve Nash" and frankily Miller hasnt been able to do that. He also is going to force teams to respect the three point shot. Basically, he can come in an improve our weaknesses. I dont disagree with anything. I dont think you do either. I just believe that if Tinsley is healthy and on the Denver roster, he is going to win the starting point guard job.
Let me ask you this. If you were a betting man would you bet on Tinsley being healthy for an entire 82 game season like miller has proven to be every single season of his career ?

Also Miller has proven he can play in many different styles/teams/coaches. And still remain healthy. Be consistent no matter where he plays. I make no excuses for Millers play. I don't have to Miller is a gamer. Yet you make excuses for Tinsley and he has played his entire career with one team. A big advantage over Miller IMO. Miller is what he is. A very talented PG that is underrated by even Nuggets fans.

I will agree to disagree with you regarding Tinsley/Miller in who would start. IMO Dre would mop the floor with Tinsley during practice.

It's all good though and was a fun debate

Re: Stephen Jackson & Jamal Tinsley???

Would it be too unrealistic since Indiana has Sarusnakdd Jaasksdidfnkas (sp??) at point along with Fred Jones (former Nugget draft pick by the way) who can run the point and Anthony Johnson to run the point that Denver could ship:

Nene (Bird Rights)
Vo (who'd give the Pacers some outside veteran scoring to compliment O'neal)
and
Watson / Boykins

for

Jackson and Tinsley.

If Denver can keep Miller and Boykins and trade Watson then my plan of getting Earl B. nothing but quality spark plug minutes will be realized. Boykins would be best utilized hovering around 10 minutes a game, strictly for offensive purposes.

Plus Earl B. is healthy enough to plug any injury leaks to Tinsley.

If Denver ships out Boykins...

Watson would definitely want out. Maybe look to add a Big Man out of NY then if the Knicks still want Watson. Or maybe Atlanta would ship Harrington out for Watson because they truly need a point guard.

Denver's depth however could be affected because if Tinsley does get injured then who'd run #2 point? Maybe the guy Karl wants to groom...Julius Hodge. Hodge is a project, but could come in handy, but Tins would have to get back for the playoffs!

After Watching the Indiana / Wiz game the announcers were saying that Tins injury is killing the Pacers and that once he's back the team will be better, so trying to steal him for anything but Miller may not work.

Ideal lineup after trade
Tinsley / Miller / Boykins
Jackson / Buckner / DJ
Melo / Kleiza
KMart / Najera
Camby / Elson

NBDL: Julius Hodge

Boykins less lineup
Tinsley / Miller / Hodge (Street Clothes)
Jackson / Buckner / DJ
Melo / Kleiza
KMart / Harrington (for Watson! Haha) / Najera
Camby / Elson

Re: Stephen Jackson & Jamal Tinsley???

AJ, let me just say this. It would be good to get 70 or 80 games out of Tinsley, but more importantly come playoff time, have him ready to go, because he can do more for us than Andre Miller can. At least he can do more things well that we need him to do. But I can talk all I want, until he's in our fast break offense situation, its pretty unprovable. I'm just sitting at the advantage point of seeing a lot of both Andre Miller and Tinsley. Seriously, im not joking, get Tinsley in an uptemo style and he likely would average over 10 assists a game (assuming he gets 30 plus minutes a game).

Tinsley isn't worth it IMO if he can't play half the season, and you have to trade Andre Miller for him.

This trade idea has been reviewed and declined! Because it's Miller Time
