Watson and Lenard ready to go:
Lenard and Watson both say they are excpecting to be traded (Watson) and still want to be traded (Voshon). We are getting very close to that time some trades will either be made or not. I'm hoping for Watson he does get traded to a better situation. As for Lenard well at this point the Nuggets need to find him a new home. No way if he has to stay in Denver will he be happy about it. Could cause problems down the road.
Some quotes from an article in the Rocky Mountain News by Lenard and Watson.
Quote:
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Earl Watson this week is a member of the Denver Nuggets. Will he be one next week?
With the date approaching that the point guard, who has played sparingly since signing a five-year, $29 million deal in September, is eligible to be traded, he believes it is inevitable. Players who signed as free agents during the off-season can be moved beginning Thursday.
"It almost has to happen from a business standpoint," Watson said. "We've got too much money in our backcourt. Why not? But I'm all for it. . . . I look forward to the time back on the court. That's all I can do."

"Whatever happens in the future, I hope it happens soon," Watson said. "My goal is to contribute. I love to practice, but it's like the longest training camp ever. . . . Somebody told me . . . there is no such thing as failure, there is only redirection. I think redirection is like the resolution that I'm looking for. If I'm going to be in a lousy situation any longer, there is no need to overthink it. . . . I'm staying professional. Hopefully, staying professional won't let me linger."

LENARD RETURNS: Nuggets shooting guard Voshon Lenard played 21 minutes Saturday, his longest stint since losing his starting job four weeks ago. But he said his 14-point effort does not change his desire to be traded.
"What you think? Yeah," said Len- ard, when asked if he was surprised by the stint.

It is. However I do understand Voshons frustrations. It's one thing to be taken out of the staring lineup. I think the real problem was that Coach Karl didnt play Voshon at all for 7 or 8 games. So essentially he went from starter to being benched getting zero minutes.
So I can see why Voshon would want to move on. He definitely had a momentary lapse of selfishness and bitterness towards the Nuggets when he wouldnt go in to the game. However from seeing him play against the Magic he is being professional again. How long though will that last ? I think if Voshon stays on the Nuggets it will lead to problems. It's to bad, because he could help the Nuggets with his shooting.

Sad, but they do both need to go. I personally understand Voshon's frustration. But he could learn a thing or two from Watson. I don't think Earl could be handling it any better. Vocal, but well-spoken and professional. Unfortunately, we just don't have room for him at the point, and we didn't when we signed him, either.

Good point Voshon should be watching and taking notes from Earl Watson.
