Why is Vo still on our team?

Every game I see Vo sitting on the bench, hating it, and i think "why is he still on my team?" just trade him already.

Re: Why is Vo still on our team?

I'd do a trade with Raps and Knicks (And I, personally, would like to see Boston and Portland involved also)

Three-team (with Raps and Knicks involved)

Denver send Lenard to Toronto, Watson and Najera to NY;
Toronto send Woods and your draft pick back, and send Jalen Rose with Aaron Williams to NY;
NY send Q Rich and Malik Rose to Denver and Penny Hardaway with Trevor Ariza to Toronto;

Extended version (with Portland and Boston involved)

Denver send Lenard to Toronto, Watson to NY and Najera to Portland;
Toronto send Woods and your draft pick back to Denver; Jalen Rose and Aaron Williams to NY;Send Eric Williams to Boston;
NY send Q Rich and Malik Rose to Denver and Penny Hardaway with Trevor Ariza to Toronto;
Portland send Ruben Patterson to NY;
Boston send Michael Olowokandi to Toronto

Denver: They can use Q Rich shooting and defense instead of their glut of PG's (they'll already have Dre and Boykins) and without Lenard stucking in their bench; Rose is an energy PF rebounder like Najera, can replace his production... You get Loren Woods in case of another big man injury, and your draft pick back!

Toronto: They're not using Aaron, Eric and Woods, and Rose is bloating their cap room... They replace some of Rose shooting with Lenard, get a big expiring contract in Penny (which get to IL), they lose the Denver pick, but they get rid of a big salary, get a good SG in Lenard and also get a young SF in Ariza (which can get more minutes in this Toronto team), and also get a C with an expiring contract in Kandi, which may not be a great thing, but definitely can help that team more than Woods and Aaron are helping now.

Portland: Najera is more of a PF than Ruben. His contract may be longer, but is less millions per year, so it's like paying the same money for three years of Najera instead of two of Ruben. I'm sure that McMillan would like Najera style of play...

Boston: They won't use Kandi, so they get a fan favorite back, Eric Williams definitely can play, and he loves Boston... He can be used as a PF/SF and will be a leader in their locker room again...

Veto. Not giving up Watson and Najera for Q Richardson, who I think is significantly worse than both of Watson and Najera, has injury concerns and a huge contract. We don't want QRich!

I don't know if I can agree that Watson is better than a healthy Q Rich... And no way that he is worst than Najera.. But I agree that his injury concerns may be a risk... About his contract, Watson have a huge contract too... But I'd even take this risk...

Re: Why is Vo still on our team?

Nuggets are looking to trade Voshon. After Vo made it clear he didnt want to wear a Nuggets uni anymore do to the lack of Playing time. Nuggets management acknowledged they would try and trade Voshon. However it seems no equal deals have been offered, or nobody wants Vo.

Yeah I hear ya, a few other people have said the same thing in regards to a pick would be good enough. Maybe no teams are even willing to give up any youth for Vo.

Re: Why is Vo still on our team?

I heard on Altitude the other day that we will be surprised what we get for Vo.

They said he'll be traded late in the trading period for somebody with a longer contract. Since Vo's contract is done after this year, he's more of a commodity to a team making a late playoff push since he comes off the books this next year.

They mentioned Miami as one team where he could go, and to not be surprised if we get a player AND picks for him.

Here's to hoping...

Re: Why is Vo still on our team?

Lenard is a very good player. He could've helped the Nuggets winning more games than they have. If the Nuggets want to trade him doesn't mean you got to agree with it.
