what are our goals?
do yall really trust jr smith as our starting SG for the entire year? for the future, maybe, but can we contend with this line up??? i doubt it...
i keep seeing these "kmart for 3 back up players" trades. they are ANNOYING! is this really what we need? more back ups?
i certainly think we still need a good starter IN FRONT of jr. give this kid some time. expecting him to carry us to the finals is retarded...and isnt that our goal? win a championship? weve been rebuilding for a while now, its time to CONTEND.
even though bonzi isnt a good fit, at least i see the nuggets trying to address the need of a veteran starter who can contribute NOW. im excited that they actually were pushing for AI and maybe other big names who can help. JR IS A PROJECT!!! i wouldnt trade k-mart unless i was getting a starting PG or SG.

No, Thomas and his guys weren't the only ones in the wrong Saturday. The Nuggets have their own issues. But when it was over, at least they weren't crying, at least they weren't punking.
It's all gone in New York now – the pride, the respect, the dignity. This isn't just a bad team; this is a bad act. A once proud franchise and fan base brought to its knees as its pathetic coach makes excuses and whines for mercy.

Re: what are our goals?
Both the jazz and nuggets are simular in a lot of ways. Injuries and that damn SG problem! We both have SGs that could be good in the future but lack that star SG to take you to the next level. So are the nuggets trading martin? Or will they fire karl and get another coach so they don't have to worry about the hard feelings? Because if martin plays like he did in new jersey, watch out you guys will be crazy good. I for one, look forward to the division matchup between the nuggets and jazz. Jazz/Nuggets are the only 2 teams that have the biggest chance of winning the NW division.

Re: what are our goals?
One thing that Karl has proven in his time here is that what we the fans think makes sense doesn't line up with what he wants to do. So now that it appears he has carte blanche to what he wants, I'm lost.
What does he see in Boykins? Sure he produces points, but even a 10 year old can see that kills the offense to do it.
If he values players that practice hard, why do players that reportedly play great in practice not get any playing time?
I hopeful that now that he has won the powerstruggle with Kiki that he'll quit using players as pawns in that game and focus on winning.
