Kicked Where It Hurts

Check out what George Karl said after Wednesday's game: "When you get arrogant or too cocky in this league, the league kicks you in the nuts and embarrasses you."

Ouch!

Too much like the Memphis game. Karl's right, if you don't bring it every night this year, you're gonna get embarassed. Look at the teams the Bobcats have beaten this year- Detroit, San Antonio, Cleveland, New Jersey (I know they're playing like crap but they should still beat the Bobcats).

Re: Kicked Where It Hurts

It was like groundhog day, man. The team literally stopped playing when they went up by 17 with 11:49 to go. At least they waited to stop playing until the fourth quarter last night where as they stopped playing after they got a double-digit lead in the first quarter against Memphis.

Re: Kicked Where It Hurts

Because of injuries, the Nuggets are overly reliant on the energy of Najera and Evans. When they combine for 14 & 7, the Nuggets are going to lose most of those games.

The first stat I look at in the box scores is the number of rebounds per minute for Evans as I believe that is the greatest indicator of success for this team without Nene and Kenyon.
