I'm a Bulls fan trying to get an idea of what you guys think of Skita. Has he been a disappointment? Has he shown flashes of potential? From what I've seen, he hasn't made any impact. Is this due to playing time? Injuries? Any info would be great.

I wouldn't consider him close to a bust comsidering he was a 18 year old foreign rookie. Saying that, he definetly didn't shine last year. He had a lot of trouble on defense (expected) and his shooting (not expected). The problems with his shooting will be handle this summer and he should improve upon that by next season. He did show flashes of potential nearing the end of the season. He has a very smooth stroke and good release, which is a reason not to be worried about his shooting, and he handles the ball very well for a 7 footer. I would expect to see real signs from hom this next season when he could get 25-30 mpg. Next season I would expect 11 ppg/ 5 rpg/ 3 apg /1 bpg/ 27 mpg which would be a steady improvement from last year. Don't expect the next Dirk but something close wouldn't be a surprise.

no, because we know hes a long term project. he should have been on the bench at duke last year but instead he started some games for us. in a few years he will be comparable to dirk as a rookie (which he sucked). he will be a fine player. i expect him to be like van horn in 3-4 years but with better D.

probably whatever we ask for is too little and whatever you offer wont be enough. his value is too low for trading right now. its not worth it to us.

Skita is going to be good, the guy moves very fluidly, Van Horn no way. This guy will be better than Van Horn. I am still high on him and I think he will show his stuff definitely by his 3rd year. He has a great release and form to his jumpshot, nothing that consistent minutes and confidence won't help for him to perform better and up to his potential.
