If you've read the news you know he got into some minor trouble with the law. his play at the end of last season was impressive however. The Wiz are kinda waivering on what to do with him. they had a contract agreed on, but obviously it hasn't been finalized due to this.
The Post reported Antonio Daniels as salary the wiz want to dump. so some kind of sign and trade for blatche packaged with daniels... for najera plus another piece (for salaries to match) could happen.
personally id rather the nuggets just take a gamble. offer blatche the same contract the wizards did...... and see if they match it.
the contract isnt as big as expected so why not give it a shot.
this makes it easier to trade marcus camby as well.

finding that ideal trading partner for camby is what is difficult. the spurs have some expiring contracts like brent barry that makes approx half what camby makes. udrih is a talent thats fallen out of favor with Pop. He is an expiring contract. Spanoulis just wants out of his deal to go back to europe. Elson and Finley are expiring too. The Spurs also have marcus williams and splitter they could send too. but obviously doing a trade with them would be like selling your soul to the devil.
there are deals with new york, nichols is an interesting piece to add with expiring contracts and malik rose that would have a year left to buyout.
not a lot of nice options. basically LA you could get brown and picks.

I heard from a buddy that their is a minor league team project that allows your average fan to be a part owner. Basically you buy a share and you get to vote on basketball operations. I guess this includes the coach, players and all the other stuff. The website is currently guaging interest in the IBL. It isn't the pros but it still is basketball. Sounds better than running some pointless fantasy team.

There's no reason to trade Camby unless you can get decent value back, and none of those offers are good enough to part iwth teh Defensive player of the Year. Keep Camby this year and let him bolster the D. If we don't get anything for him, we don't lose anything to keep him.

i actually agree that finding a trading partner will be tough right now. its not that other teams dont want camby... we just dont want what they can send back.
regardless, if we cant reach the western conference finals this year. it spells doom for AI and Camby in my opinion.

Iy probably doesn't hurt any that growing up in Syracuse, Blatche was a HUGE Carmelo Anthony fan. He is restricted this year though, correct?
