I heard from a buddy that their is a minor league team project that allows your average fan to be a part owner. Basically you buy a share and you get to vote on basketball operations. I guess this includes the coach, players and all the other stuff. The website is currently guaging interest in the IBL. It isn't the pros but it still is basketball. Sounds better than running some pointless fantasy team.

dont think its quite that simple. he is a pretty big star overseas, you could try him out though
to my knowledge he hasnt signed anything for this coming season yet. there are a couple
of good players like that. idk if hed stay long on a nonguaranteed deal, especially with what he could
make overseas.
