I heard from a buddy that their is a minor league team project that allows your average fan to be a part owner. Basically you buy a share and you get to vote on basketball operations. I guess this includes the coach, players and all the other stuff. The website is currently guaging interest in the IBL. It isn't the pros but it still is basketball. Sounds better than running some pointless fantasy team.

the realgm article says he was waived,but the article that it links to says they signed him.Apparently both are correct.That means they basically waived his contract and signed him for less

Nuggets sign G Carter

August 31, 2007 DENVER (TICKER) -- The Denver Nuggets signed free-agent guard Anthony Carter on Friday. Terms were not disclosed. The 6-2, 195-pound Carter averaged 3.0 points, 1.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists in two games for Denver last season. He also appeared in one playoff game for the Nuggets, scoring eight points and handing out two assists in 14 minutes.

The eight-year veteran was waived by Denver on August 29.

This guy has so much potential. He showed a lot of poise in teh playoffs.

He might be worth keeping, IMO, and could make Atkins expendable by the midway ponit of the season (if he gets PT).
