I heard from a buddy that their is a minor league team project that allows your average fan to be a part owner. Basically you buy a share and you get to vote on basketball operations. I guess this includes the coach, players and all the other stuff. The website is currently guaging interest in the IBL. It isn't the pros but it still is basketball. Sounds better than running some pointless fantasy team.

i've never heard of him, but from those numbers, he's only really fit for maybe 2-5 mpg, and that's with their questionable sg situation.,

before i learned about the euroleague id have said the same. mickel was an all star... think he got hurt and that might have hurt his numbers one year. he's a gunner in the euroleague.... probably more of an nba fit which is why i brought his name up.

for instance last year juan carlos navarro averaged just over 16 points per game. morandais has been on good teams too. him being on a bad team and averaging a euroleague best 21 ppg average would make his stats look nice..... but id rather see him fit in well with a championship team at 14 ppg. euroleague is different than the nba.

since we are going the stats route.
how many minutes would a player get that averaged 5.8 points 4.0 rebounds .2 assists .8 steals in euroleague play?
if you would have guessed 19 started games and over 18 minutes per game last season you'd have guessed right. Yes, i'm talking about Diawara. who starred at college powerhouses like s. idaho and pepperdine and then went on to clearly dominate euroleague play.
Id rather have an all big 12 conference player. An Italian cup winner. An Italian All star. Simple fact is if a guy isnt 19 and on nbadraft.net, everyone assumes he just isnt good.
i guarantee he can play at least as good of defense as diawara.... and he'll shoot a lot better than 34% from the field.
