While watching the Celtics debacle the other night, I was keeping a close eye on JR Smith.

I have two thigns I'd like to discuss. First: he played a lot of point guard, and didn't do too badly. You could tell he wasn't comfortable playing the piont, but he was very, very careful not to force any shots.

Secondly: He's nto himself. He wasn't creating his own shot and driving a lot, he woudl look for the open J and pass off.

Is this the kind of player Karl wants in his lineup? I think it's good for him to choose shot selection, but if he's being very hesitant to shoot the ball (his specialty), he's nto nearly as effective as normal.

I miss his cutting and dunking, and I'm hoping that Karl and JR can find a happy medium. If he plays the way he did the other night...I'm not sure if he's a fit. Also, his trade value is decreasing daily. I'd like to see the old JR Smith back. By old JR, I mean the fearless one who's a little cocky and ready to dunk on anybody.

He played awful defense and his body language sucked. He is so oblivious of everyone else on the court. I'd rather get rid of him at this point.

I hope he breaks out of his shell.

Unfortunately, I think that he'd blossom elsewhere...anywhere away from George karl.
