Game Thread: Denver Nuggets vs. Washington Bullets (er...Wizards)-Game #6
Denver Nuggets at Washington Wizards
 vs.
Game #6-Verizon Center: Washington, DC
Game Time: 6:00 pm MST
Denver: 2-3
Washington: 0-4
POSSIBLE STARTING LINEUPS
Denver Nuggets:

C: Marcus Camby, PF: Kenyon Martin, SF: Carmelo Anthony, SG: Linas Kleiza, PG: Allen Iverson
Washington Wizards:

C: Brendan Haywood, PF: Antawn Jamison, SF: Caron Butler, SG: Deshawn Stevenson, PG: Gilert Arenas
The Washington Wizards try to get their first W of the season as they host the Denver Nuggets tonight at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC. The Nuggets, losers of their last three, will be without Chucky Atkins, Anthony Carter, and Nene, leaving them thin at both the PG and PF positions. Allen Iverson is looking to carry his team once again (yes I said it's AI's team) by running the point for the sixth game this season. Mike Wilks is a game time decision. His presence or absence could decide this game for the bone-weary Nuggets.
The Wizards will be without Oleksiy Pecherov and Etan Thomas due to injuries. All eyes will be on superstar PG Gilbert Arenas as his is nursing a sore knee that has had water drained off of it three times in the past two weeks. Will his knee hold up in a game that the Nuggets will try to push the pace? Will Melo find his lost shooting touch and bring the Nuggets back to .500? Will George Karl finally realize he has a bench? All these questions and more will be answered tonight in Washington! Tune in to Altitude Sports Network for the answer!
