Question Question about Yarbrough

What do you see for Vincent Yarbrough in the future? Did you like his development last year?

I liked his development.

He's not scurrred ( he talked trash with MJ )
and for a 2nd round pick he did real well for us ..... i think he'll def be in the league for a number of yrs.
could be a nice backup .... or could be one of those guys who start to blossom in their 2nd or 3rd year and put up 20+ a game.

He was the top rated HS basketball prospect at one time .... so the talent is there. I didn't get to see him at the University of Tenn. at all, but it looked like he put up pretty good numbers in a tough conference.

I don't think he is going far unless he adjusts his attitude...

I've seen him both in college, and in the pros. Sometimes, he can really hurt his team with his reactions to refs - not technicals, but whining and slacking on defense, or trying to prove himself on offense, and usually after the most blatantly obvious call. His defense can often have disgusting effort and he, at times, displays no understanding of team concept, or any desire to. He acts like he is already a superstar, but looks like a joke in the process. I like him though, but those things really hurt him, and are the biggest difference between him, and say Richard Jefferson.

I wish he would learn teh difference between a good shot and a bad shot-just attack the rim mor eman! I mean he can be great, but he shoots too much instead of taking it to the hole

Yarborough. Sucks. Bottom. Line. First of all, it looks like he's been smothered in iodine, thus my nickname for him, IO. Seriously though, this guy straight up sucks. He has an AWFUL jumper and completely underachieves athletically, given he's a damn good athlete. He can't play a lick of defense and makes stupid mistakes with the ball. I have no idea how the hell this guy made the roster. He's awful.
