Anyone else read this guys columns in the Rocky Mountain News? A few days ago he's coming down on Carmelo saying that he cant "dribble" or "rebound" (10.0 RPG as a frosh SF sounds way above the curve to me). Then he says that "the best thing that could have happened for carmelo is for syracuse to lose in the 1st round so the whole country couldn't see his flaws". WTF?? Am i not right in remembering that Melo led his team to the Championship and was named MVP of the touney? That means he was voted as the best player in the NCAA touney how many flaws could there have been?

Then today he, for no reason .... just trashes the new color scheme as "tacky" and notes how it won't help the nuggets performance on the court. Who ever said it would win us games to change the unis? He doesn't say that he liked the old unis a whole lot or anything ..... he just decided to come down on the new ones for no reason.

I miss Bob Kravitz ..... he would sometimes come down on people but only if it was at least somewhat warranted. BTW he didnt mention who we should take instead of Melo ..... maybe he wanted Kaman, who knows?

The worst thing is i dont even think that he believes what he types, i think he's just one of those guys that likes to stir the pot to get his name out there ( which as this post attests .... is working) what a loser.

Bernie is simply a *******, always has been. Ever since Bob Kravitz left (and I miss his column as well) and was replaced by Bernie, his schtick has always been to bash everything and be as negative as possible.

He should have stayed in Chicago, because his knowledge of Colorado sports, from hoops to hockey, couldn't fill a thimble.

I don't bother to read his drivel myself. He can keep his negativity.
