I was reading in the pistons forum and someone brought up an AI for Billups idea. The salaries would be hard to allign but if they could work it what do you all think? we would FINALLY get a true pg and one that can light it up from deep. Billups is a denver native and would bring experience and leadership to the team.

what do you guys think?

I would absolutely love to see such a trade, but it doesn't really make sense for the Pistons. They have another year or two of mopping up in the Eastern Conference before they really need to think about rebuilding.

But for Denver...yeah, it would be virtually perfect. A PG with size who's a good defender, good shooter and reasonably good playmaker. What's not to like?

That's actually the one reason why it makes sense for the Pistons. I think Billups has 4 years left. With Iverson only having two, it allows them to move all their pieces to rebuild fairly soon.
