Free Agents to Denver

Now that the Nuggets have Carmelo Anthony, which free agents would fit in the best with Denver? The Nugs have 3 brights stars in Melo, Nene, and Skita. I expect 2 free agents to come to Denver, but which ones would fit in?

Gilbert Arenas, Corey Maggette, Elton Brand, Michael Olowokandi, Andre Miller, Rasho Nesterovic...

I heard that Jason Kidd had the Nuggets in his Top 4 Teams. Would be nice if the Nuggets landed him.

if i were the nuggets the 2 players i would go after are Gilbert Arenas and Cory Maggette..Both are very young and both can have a huge break out season next year if they were on the Nuggets both would get tons of playin time and both you can put into your future plans unlike Kidd..

Jason Kidd would be perfect, but i think he will stay in NJ, Arenas wll stay in the Warriors... They should get Andre Miller and a SG. Maybe Magette, maybe Stephen Jackson..

Denver is in Kidds top 4, but i think its a distant 4th to the other 3. Probaly just because those are the only 4 teams that he has a chance with.

If i were the nuggets i would pursue Andre Miller and Corey Maggette the most. Sure Gilbert Arenas is a good young player but he needs to score too much to be effective, and is not a true PG like Andre Miller. Miller had to join a new system (the clippers no less) and a organization where everyone were playing for themselves. Remember this time last year only J-Kidd was considered better. If they sign Gilbert Arenas to a big, long term contract......they will be looking back in a few years and regretting that. Maggette would also be a great addition.

Lineup:
A.Miller
Maggette
Carmelo
Skita (eventually)
Nene

That is a lot of talent, and all those guys are unselfish team first type of guys. I just dont think Arenas fits well with this team, not like Andre Miller does anyway.

What a travesty it'd be if Gilbert was forced to stay in Golden State. Purgatory.

Stephen Jackson is a SF, a terrible one at that, and a RFA who the Spurs will definetly re-sign.

As for Kidd...leverage, leverage, leverage.
