Re: brent barry?
Well, speaking only for myself...sure, depending on the cost. Good shooter, decent passer. I'm not sure he helps with the Denver backcourt defensive deficiencies at this point, though.

Re: brent barry?
I would like to see him here... he'll add leadership but lets face it. He will resign with the spurs now that they are under the luxury tax threshold. ESPN.COM insider John Hollinger agrees.

I think he would look better in a Blazers uniform to be honest with you.

Re: brent barry?
I think it should be gainst NBA rules to be traded, released, then re-signed with the team that traded you.
It reeks of collusion.

What needs to change is the rules behind NBA trading. You should be able to trade whoever you want regardless of salaries. Obviously Seattle didnt want Brent Barry so why shouldnt he be able to go back to SA bc the only reason he was in the deal was for the stupid salary rule. Thats why I have no problem when a player goes back to their team after they get traded cuz the trading rules are ridiculous. As long as ur not dumb and put it out there like Stackhouse i got no problem with it.

I don't see how he's really an upgrade over a healthy Atkins.

Re: brent barry?
How about Van Horn? That trade should have been illegal, too.
Hey, let's sign a free agent just to trade him to make the salaries work...
Sheesh.
