Carmelo is supposed to be a stud and Skita is coming around in the Summer League. Both of these guys look like they're going to be stars, but neither has much versatility. I can't see either of them playing the 2 or the 4.

If both of these guys become bonafide stars, how are they going to be placed in a game. Defensively, they would be trashed by a 2 or a 4. They seem to be rigid 3's.

Skita is playing great in the Summer league games, but he has yet to show he´s the real deal.
summer league play is... well, summer league play.

Skita won't start. (Melo will)
If he progresses nicely, he could be a great 6th man, next year...

I'm not saying both of them will be stars, but if they do, what will Denver do at the 3 spot?

The obvious: trade one of them for equally good player.

Skita will probably eventually be able to play the four spot. I don't like this because he's more of a three, but you do what you gotta do. Now if we bring in Brad Miller, Nene will move to power forward. If that happens, I'm not sure what we'll do. It's really not an issue this year, as Skita will be coming off the bench and only get 15-20 a game. After that, if he progresses as expected, it will become a problem if Nene is playing power forward instead of center. So this year everything will be cool. But from here on out, especially if we land another center, I'm not sure what will happen.
