I would like to see this deal happening, the sonics are my favorite team. But its not a good trade for Denver. They do need a better SG but they also need Nene and more frontcourt players. And Barry will be a FA after the season, so why would Denver get Barry by a trade if they have enough cap space to sign him?

I don't see how Brent Barry improves the Nuggets that much, anyway. The team needs consistent low-post scoring and lock-down defense, not another (with all due respect) second tier shooting guard (which is what Brent is, regardless of where he plays in Seattle).

For some reason, the GM or someone just likes Barry's game and wants him in Denver.
And in regards to the original trade proposal, it would be awesome for the Sonics. But I seriously doubt the Nugz is ever gonna let Nene leave, well at least not anytime soon.

I would do that if I were Denver, but not if I were Seattle.
Denver has a great backcourt already, but I wouldn' pass up the talent in that trade. Barry would be a great backup PG, and Murray would probably by an upgrade on Voshon.

It has to be a joke. Barry is a FA and will be gone at the end of the season. I read somewhere that he rejected a 2 years, 10 million extension. Seattle will start shopping him around soon.
Denver would never trade its starter and young PF for 2 back-up guards. Barry is 31 years old. Murray is an avarage player. The nuggets have enough cap space to sign better players, or even Barry, in the offseason without losing Nene.

To make it appear fair at all Seattle would have to give up Radmanovic to replace Nene, plus Murray, plus either a future first round pick or both of Seattles'second round picks they will have this draft.
The only other trade situation involving both teams that might make a little sense would be Barry and James for Camby, although Camby is playing better than Nene at the moment.
I can see Denver thinking now about the playoffs, and what kind of adition at the trade deadline would be good for that purpose. Barry is an all around player and we all know he is one of the best shooters in the game. Radmanovic is versatile enough to play both forward positions, is also a top notch shooter, and at the same height as Nene he can rebound as well. But he's not as effective inside as either Nene or Camby. Murray can play both guard spots and is also a good shooter who could add something off the bench. Really none of the Sonics centers could add anything for the playoffs that the Nuggets don't have already.
