with this trade we would get a solid point guard, an established small forward and a reserve pf. we lose in injury prone player in camby (we still have howard remember), a SLOW vetran who wont be able to keep up with the up tempo running game coach bdzelik wants and we lose posey who we were looking to shop anyway. it sounds good to me. the lakers would recive another offensive/ defensive weapon. camby would be able to guard the guys like webber, garnett, malone etc. and let shaq do his thang with out getting quite as tired with all that defensive banging. posey would add a young gun who can get hottter than hell at any time. and a wise floor leader in mccloud who when you need a shot can do what fisher does.

The Lakers want to win thier 4th straight title this year. By keeping Horry, Fox, and Fisher intact, they have 3 solid role players who understand the triangle-offense. More, all 3 of them can take big shots when game is on the line especially Horry. They are all good 3-point shooters. Camby is very injury proned, Lakers would not want him when they have their injuries to worry about (O'Neal and Walker). McCloud is basically washed up although he's still capable at 3-point line. Posey is young, athletic yet erratic and not much of a threat outside, and they have a similar guy in Deveon George and George can shoot from behind-the-arch. That's only my point-of-view by the way.
