Marcus Camby begins the season on the injured list! What a shocker!

Here's the link:

http://espn.go.com/nba/news/2002/1010/1444057.html

It says that Mark Blount is expected to get the starting C job. I have Nene Hilario pencilled in as the starter at C, though. Here's how I envision the minutes being distributed at C for Denver:

Hilario 20 mpg, Chris Anderson 16 mpg, Mark Blount 12 mpg

It all depends on how high the Nuggets are on Anderson. NugzFan and a few others around here think this guy is going to win the damn MVP this year, while I'm not even sure if he gets more than 10 mpg.

Does anybody have any inside info regarding how these three mother scratchers are playing?

YIKES, Hilario at center? I hope that's just temporary, the coaches should be grooming the kid to be their PF of the future where his skills could be utilized more.

Anderson can ball.... even last year he showed the signs even with an injury. This year if he gets the playing time he will show people what he can do, I'm almost certain he would put up some good stats in the Eastern conf. but unfortunately for him hes in the west.

andersen mvp? please.

again andersen impressed in the scrimmage - the kid can and will play. doing fine tonight at dallas.

but the camby injury, while it sucks its not a killer by any means. but it does put a little doubt into our bet robyg
