Shaq's 95 Magic team played in perfect harmony and got their *** beat in dust mop situation. sweeeep
How long is it gonna take before Shaq calls Wade selfish I'm betting next year.
He's called Penny selifish, Eddie Jones, Kobe, Van Excel. Ceballos,
Any time a guard starts getting credit he throws up the selfish flag.
Comments like that about Detroit is why Shaq won't win a thing with the Heat because when they lose he's gonna blame someone else.
He can't accept that another team was more talented.
Lakers had 2 great players the Pistons had 5 good players thats why the Pistons won.

Shaq seems like he is writing checks his big *** won't be able to cash. The Heat are lucky it isn't the old way in the playoffs or they would have to face Indiana and Detroit in consecutive rounds (should they make it to the ECF's). Either way, Detroit or Indiana is going to check them at the door.
There is a better chance of Al Sharpton winning the presidency than Shaq actually getting in shape and actually caring about his conditioning.

I don't know man, I look at the Pistons as the deepest squad in the league - deep with talent. Certainly they don't have four future Hall of Famers as the Lakers did, but still, they put as good of a starting five on the floor as anyone - and their bench is pretty darn good too.

Wait a minute: What talent do the Heat have? Beyond himself, Wade, and Jones, what is there at this point in time? Doleac? Dooling? Wang?
Shaq needs to wait for his roster to fill out before talking about a supposed lack of talent, because his team right now is really lacking some talent.
Plus, let's not forget Shaq gives credit to no man, no team unless he's on his own team. One minute, he says Kobe Bryant should be the MVP, the next he's trashing him every chance he gets. Shaq, shut your mouth, and enjoy your summer.

Most of what Shaq says is rhetorical or even just free-associative.

If you asked Shaq what either one of those were, he would be totally clueless. Maybe he is baiting other teams on purpose to get guys to play the Heat harder, but he better bring it this season from start to finish, or the Heat are going to have problems.

LOL Shaq is so wrong on this one....picking fights with 38% and picking fights with Detroit are two different things.
Chauncey Billups, Ben Wallace and Rasheed Wallace aren't talented? LOL ok.......Ben and Rasheed weren't struggling much when they were guarding Shaq. Also...isn't playing together part of "talent"......I'm pretty sure that it's a talent to be able to incorporate others and therefore making the whole greater than the sum of the parts.
The Detroit Pistons have FOUR players I see as possible future hall of famers if the team stays together. Hamilton, Billups, Wallace and Wallace. Hell Billups had MANY INDIVIDUAL plays that killed LA.

That being said.....even though the comments were WRONG.....smart move. Shaq wants to up the emotional antee. He's got a bunch of hungry young guys on Miami and maybe a war of words will make them angry as well.

Lets be real here, the only Hall of Famer on that team is Larry Brown.

That team keeps winning and there are four possible hall of famers. But hey......nobody thought anybody but Clyde was gonna be a hall of famer on the Knicks in 1968. But they won as a team and you saw Bradley, Debusschere and Reed become hall of famers in the midst of the winning.

oh come on. don't you people yet realize, after all these years, that you have to take 90% of what shaq says with a grain of salt?
he's an entertainer. he likes talking ****, and we all know he can back it up, so let him be. it's just shaq being shaq. he isn't the most quotable guy in the NBA for no reason.
