? for Detroit fans
I have a question for Detroit fans why can't Rasheed be one of the best players in this league right up there with Duncan, KG, Shaq, etc. Watching this series and the playoffs to me Rasheed has it all, he has the post game can get his shot off against anybody. He can step out and hit the three at any time. He is a very good post defender, I think he did a great job on Duncan during this series. He can step out and defend the guard on the pick and pop, he showed me a lot during this series I have to admit I'm a big fan, I think that he could easily be one of the top 10 players in this league but it seems that he only brings it every other game. I was just wondering if anybody else agrees with me.

Re: ? for Detroit fans
He has all the talent to easily be a top ten player.....problem is that he doesnt want to be one...at times him just wanting to be part of a team really hurts us...he should easily be a 20-12 guy....problem is that he doesnt want to be the focal point on this team

Re: ? for Detroit fans
The style he plays allows for the 5 starters to gel better but if Rasheed wanted, I am sure he could be a top 3 PF in the league.

Re: ? for Detroit fans
For all the skills that Rasheed has he is not a top 3 power forward and he won't be.
I love Sheed on our team but don't look at him like he is an attitude away from being one of the best, because one of the [b]skills[/u] that makes KG, Duncan and Dirk so great is that attitude. Being able to do it physically is only half the battle.

Re: ? for Detroit fans
I dont think anyone doubts Sheeds ability and talent to be a top 5 PF, It has always been a matter of if he wants to. He would rather blend into the team concept rather than be the leader. At times this year it drove me nuts knowing that he could score against most defenders and yet he deffered to others. Hopefully he drinks some of the Rip selfish juice over the summer and comes back next year looking to be more assertive at the offensive end.
