Who would you want as coach, if Larry Brown moves on?
I'm just curious, is there anyone you guys would prefer to take over the job in the case Larry does leave?

With Joe Dumars you never can expect what your going to get but it always usually ends out good. My pick would be Laimbeer just because of how crazy a piston homer he is

No way in hell Laimbeer gets the job....You dont turn over a championship team to a coach with no experience....and no...WNBA is not experience.....From what I hear Flip Saunders is the guy....

Joe D won't give us any hints to who he likes. We are just left to guess until it's annouced.

Re: Who would you want as coach, if Larry Brown moves on?
What would you guys think about Eric Musselman? I feel he did a very good job in Golden State during his stint, especially considering how young that team was. He did better than expected the year after they lost Arenas too. I think if he got on a team with veterans, he'd be very successful.

Flip Saunders is a great coach. He may have had a losing streak with the timberwolves but that i think has to do with some of the players' attitudes towards playing to win. don't let his past season with the timberwolves ruin his reputation. look at the years before when they always got into the playoffs.

I wouldn't mind that. He did an excellent job here.

Most people on the piston board have been high on the idea of Flip. I don't hold last season against him and I find it weird he hasn't got a job yet. I think there is something to this. Maybe not with the pistons but with somebody.

rick carlisle
On a serious note I want Saunders or Mcmillan.
If Joe gave the job to Laim I would either slit my wrists or find another team to root for.
