Where from here?:
The Pistons seem to have almost everything together, and eventually even Mehemet Okur and Tashaun Prince will adjust. So do the Pistons have any real needs? I think PG is still a weakness, Billups is good but he plays like a SG and eventually Billups could start at SG and Rip at SF (Michael Curry is getting old, so is Cliff). So who's on the wish list? With that 1st from Memphis and some cap room the Pistons could trade for a guy who's going to be a RFA and resign him. Right now Andre Miller's stock is low and the Pistons could probably get him for little more than the 1st from Memphis and Chucky Atkins. So who do you think could improve the Pistons' chances in the playoffs (and yes, they are going to be in the playoffs for the doubters)?

The pistons will make the playoffs that's for sure. As for Andre I don't know if I would want him. The Clippers haven't improved any. I would love to get Steve Nash but it will be awfully hard to pry him out of the Mav's hands.

Certainly I would like the pistons to get a good center to compliment ben at the four. SF is another positon I would like to upgrade. I see a perfect fit for the pistons in carmelo anthony. Of course I said the same thing about rodney white

re:
Carmelo is far superior to White even right now, White was picked in the first round only because MJ said he was good; well he's not. Carmelo would not be a good Piston though because he doesn't even go back on D half of the time. Tayshaun is the Pistons' SF of the future unless Rip moves back to SF. Ben is best suited at 5 though because if you put Ben at 4 you have two players who can't go outside 6 feet. That is unless you're talking about a guy like Anderson Varejao (who can play from midrange and is really a 4 but is 6-11). I think Mehmet Okur should get more minutes though, it would help the rebounding problem. All the Pistons' lack is organization on offense and I think a tempo PG like Miller or Gary Payton would do a lot of good. There really isn't a preospect that could help the Pistons in the upcoming draft (in the lotto), if they trade out of the lotto (because their own pick goes to Sac) David Harrison could be a very servicable backup C. Other than Harrison I just don't see a particularly compatable draft prospect.

I say don't fix anything that is broke. What we need the most for now and in the future is a 3 and a 5. 'Melo Anthony would be great, so would Milicic, and also Chris Bosh. As far our own draft picks in the upcoming draft I would have to see how the situation weighs out with the draft picks to put any inputs in.

i disagree that there is nothing in the draft that would help.maybe it would take a year or two but there are potential supers,if they come out,in milicic, bosh and rickert and very good ones in varejao, anthony and ridnour.there's plenty there to get excited about, especially when you are talking a top 5 pick.

Re: Re: re:
Those who are dissing Rodney White havent been watching him the last 3 weeks. Hes definitley better and playing better than Tayshaun Prince. He is starting to show his versatility and is starting to show flashes of what he will be in the future. You guys gave up on him too quick this still would only be his Junior year in college

He was getting no burn, and wasn't going to get off the bench this year. This disappointed Rodney. Joe Dumars traded him when his value was at the highest. His trade value would have only gone done had he sat on the bench the rest of the year. Tayshaun Prince has shown me something in the last few games. He's a threat from the outside and I think he can be a potential starter at the small forward position. More than likely a future 6th man.
