Summer League MVP
I put the 5 guys who seemed to play the most minutes down on the list of choices.

Re: Summer League MVP
Maxiell. Strong second place for Acker, who was somewhat hindered by splitting time with such weak backcourt partners.

Re: Summer League MVP
I thought Acker was the number one guy with Maxiell running a close 2nd. Paulding was the only NBA prospect Acker got to play with and Ricky didn't bring his A game the whole week.

Re: Summer League MVP
I'm sure this will surprise no one, but I voted for Max.
He averaged more points than Acker in less MPG. Plus, Max was second in Vegas in blocks per game.
Here is a link to the stats

Re: Summer League MVP
Well as much as I wanted to vote for Darko and his 35% FG (18-49) which is actually impressive compared to his career 29% shooting I chose mad max and his 48% (28-54) shooting. The pistons need to figure out somehow to send Darko to the NBDL because he needs a ****load of work.

BTW anybody who votes for Rickey Paulding we know you are either on drugs or related to him in some way.

Re: Summer League MVP
Just looking at stats (which I don't like to do) it's gotta either be Maxiell or Acker. Maxiell, although against summer league comp, proved that he can play like a big man standing between 6'5" and 6'7" and that he won't back down from anyone, which we already knew.
I'm pretty impressed with Acker's all-around play as well. When teams draft a player they always try to talk them up and make others believe they were the best pick at the time, and all we heard about Acker was his great diversity and all-around play. It's good to know that it wasn't just some lines they were feeding us.

Re: Summer League MVP

Those are just the 5 guys who logged the most minutes. I didn't want to have a poll with only two choices lol

Re: Summer League MVP
I voted Acker because he was playing an all-around game, manning both guard spots. Maxiell did great, I just appreciate more Acker's unselfishness as a guard, I suppose

All Star Teams
Quote:
The Vegas summer league announced its first team all stars, including surpises like Luke Jackson, Chris Kaman, Nate Robinson and Jason Maxiell.
The rest of the pack?
J.R. Smith, Travis Outlaw, Sebastian Telfair, Dwight Howard, Tony Allen, and Ike Diogu.
There was also a second team that included Chris Paul, Ryan Gomes, Channing Frye and David Lee, among others.
