View Poll Results: How well did Billups do in your mind?

35.8 MPG, 16.5 PPG, 3.4 RPG, 5.8 APG, .442 FG%

This is not a poll rating how good are players are. We've been talking about that for the last 3 years. What we're seeing now is how well the 2004-2005 roster lived up to our expectations.

I'd have to say that Billups lived up to my expectations. He didn't greatly improve in my opinion but he did what he does best, lead our team. He's nearly 29 years old so I can't imagine him getting much better than he is, but here's to hoping he can pump out a few more high quality seasons.

He did exactly what I thought he was going to, until the 4th quarter of the last game of the season but I don't want to go there lol.

Chauncey was infinitely better if you ask me. The numbers don't show it, but his leadership was better and his defense was better as well. I don't know about 2nd team (?) all defense, but it was at least a little bit better. Not to mention the upping of his FG%, 39% to 44% is a much bigger jump than the the numbers suggest (39-43% on threes). This was his most efficient and best year in the league.

The good thing about Chauncey is shooting doesn't go away with age and he was never an overly fast player, his play has more to do with his quickness, and don't forget his post up game. He'll be a good player for a while.

Well said, I've over looked the fact that BIllups never truly relies on being 'younger' than other players.
