The Lakers are 7-0 when this guy^ watches the playoff games.
I've missed the others because of basketball, and let's not hope I jinxed anything.

Re: Player Evaluation 04-05: Darko Milicic
Why Blame Darko for Faults Not his Own , He could'nt help a Coach did'nt want to play him & He so far cant help the Fact despite being a Talented & Skilled Basketball player he is Not an NBA player yet . Because I feel the NBA truley does not understand on how to use skilled finesful big men successfully that dont have amazing Speed to out Fast people . I've Always Said that Darko is a Point Center , A Big men who the Offence can Go thru . Problem, is he's a Terrible Rebounder & as far as his Defence is Concerened it's not up to the Standereds of a Championship Caliber team . it's decent but he would'nt get much playing time on any Championship Caliber team that focus on defence , hence the most likley reason why Larry Brown Never played him . His defence was up to Snuff for your Team . I'm sure every player you used either in his spot or instead of Darko all had a better defencive appittude then he .
Darko Milicic, PF/C, Pistons
Stats: 9.8 ppg, 5.8 rpg on 36 percent shooting in the Vegas Summer League
The skinny: The excuses are about to stop. With Larry Brown out in Detroit, it's now time for Darko to respond.
We can talk all we want to about rust (he hasn't played in two years) and conditioning (it's tough to keep in shape when you're the towel boy), but the Pistons had to be disappointed in what appeared to be an indifferent effort by Milicic.
The rust will come off with playing time and the conditioning will improve. But what happened to the aggressive play that convinced the Pistons that Darko was not your typical Euro softie? Darko had flashes when he looked very good, but much of the time he just didn't look like he cared.
That had better change or Flip Saunders will put him on the same seat on the bench that Larry did.
For what it's worth Al Jefferson and Marvin Williams, who I both think will be good players, are also on the "Dud" list. But Darko hasn't shown the things Jefferson has shown on the NBA level.
He did have much better numbers then Marvin though. Summer leagues don't mean a who lot to me because most years it doesn't translate much into the regular season.

Darko played terrible in the two games I have seen. He has played like a softy. Takes that 18 foot jumpshot over and over again, and every once in a while he will put a weak hook shot up, when he could have gone for the power finish.
It's all up to Darko this year. I wonder if he is working hard enough to improve his game and get the coaching staffs attention; in order to play. It just seems like he mopes around wanting to play, but does he want it bad enough?

great post. there's something with this kid that is hard to put your finger on. if you look at him move around a basketball court you'd think he was superstar. i think brown was his biggest problem but now that life jacket is gone, no excuses.
