And he's definitely not worth the money Utah gave him. Especially not to us with the role he would've filled.

If I remember right we offered him the 6 years and 40 million? but Utah was just offering crazy dollars

We offered the maximum that we could, MLE amount - 6 years, $40 million. Looking back on it, it's probably a good thing Utah did offer more than that, because if Memo re-signed with us, we wouldn't have McDyess, who is probably a better fit for our team.

I think long run Okur could have been better for us but I don't know if he would have been so helpful last season. No way we wanted to tie up that much for a back up though.
