If that is all we can get for Darko I guess I understand because of how bad darko has looked but I would at least hold out for a #1 pick.

Where is the NY Daily News getting this information from? If this was really offered this would deserve more than the last paragraph of one news story. I'm skeptical on their sources.

You should have stopped reading after "New York Daily News." They are trash.

Re: Dumars to Knight - Darko for Al Harrington : (link)

If the Pistons decided they wanted to trade Darko, they'd have a long list of teams lining up to acquiring him.

But this story appeared in a New York paper. I'll give it...circa 24 hours before every other newspaper in the country shoots this rumor down.

Even myself being a Darko supporter, don't you think Joe Dumars would have called to ask about a guy like Josh Smith over Harrington? I don't think this is true because Harrington makes zero sense from our side.

AM 1270 was saying that Dumars was offered Al Harrington and turned Atlanta down.

I'd do it.

Everyone is citing that NYC paper source but it would make no sense for us to be the guys offering that. We don't need Al

Don't shoot the messenger.

I'm just saying what I heard them say.

Al Harrington may not be a need, but what exactly does Darko do? Al would be a versatile and experienced guy to bring in off the bench. That's a lot more than I can say for Darko.

Honestly we don't even need Darko for next year. I was thinking by the third year he'd be ready and I hope and pray that that is right, but it's no reason to believe he will be.

I just think if we are offering Darko to Atlanta, don't we ask for one of their young guards? It just makes a lot more sense to me
