Re: Weakest starter?
I'd have to say Rasheed.
I'd be least affected if Rasheed was traded.

Re: Weakest starter?
Memory is a funny thing.
Like how we fans tend to lose it from season to season.
How we forget about the monstrous numbers routinely posted by J. O'Neal pre-Rasheed. The pre-Rasheed Duncan stat lines and the pre-Rasheed Nowitzki 40-point showtime...
How we forget about the pre-Rasheed 50-point Shareef Abdur-Rahim game. Those what in gods name are we going to do about Kenyon Martin games. The not another three over Ben, Donyell Marshall games. The we are a .500 team pre-Rasheed even with pound for pound at the helm looking poised to underachieve with a team that won back to back 50 game seasons under Rick games.
I can continue if needed...
The point I am trying to make is this:
Can anyone truly remember a single dominant PF game vs. the Pistons since Rasheed joined the team? There may have been a few (most likely some scrub with a career night on one of Sheed’s off nights) but I know for certain it was not by one of the elite PF's.
It is no coincidence that opposing big men (particularly the upper level PF's) tend to have below average numbers vs. the Pistons since Rasheed arrived (the same thing seemed to happen in Portland). It certainly was not the case for the Pistons pre Rasheed (and that was with top notch defenders such as Ben Wallace and Clifford Robinson on the roster).
Oh how we tend to forget…
Rasheed is as big a part to the Pistons current success as any.
-----
The Rasheed is warming the court while Darko and Maxiell stretch and sip Gatorade to their playoff potential in a few seasons perspective is an interesting way of looking at things.
Rasheed is a proven commodity that has played a major role in his teams being successful at all levels (HS, college, the Pro's). He has done nothing but win since entering the NBA and is coming off a decent season statistically (which is skewed by the horrid start he had to the season) all of a sudden he is over the hill at 30.
P.S. Who would be easiest to trade and receive something of value for and who is the weakest link in the starting lineup are two completely different questions.
Could someone a least attempt to answer the question asked without going way of the cop-out. There is no right or wrong it is just an opinion.
…My opinion is forthcoming.

Re: Weakest starter?
Weakest starter on the Pistons is just not a good question. None of them are weak. Objectively, perhaps one has to be less important than the others, but they are all excellent players.

Re: Weakest starter?
I think some people say Rip because of how many superstar SGs there are (Kobe, T-Mac, Ray Allen, Wade). If T- Mac was on the Pistons you guys would be hella good lol

Yes and no. T-Mac does not play Pistons style of basketball. I'm not saying I wouldn't take him. RIP is better on defense, T-Mac needs to take his shots to be effective. For us, RIP is a better fit, he is one of the starters who makes us who we are. A team, not individuals.

I'm gonna go ahead and disagree with all of that.
T-Mac is a better scorer, defender, passer, and ball handler.
I think if he were in Detroit your perception of whether or not he played "Pistons style basketball" would change pretty quickly.

I agree with it being Rip. He has speed and a great mid range jump shot but everything else he does is just average or worse.
