Re: Tayshuan's potential
Prince will continue to grow into the AK47 role. If he continued to improve his 3 pt shooting percentages he might be a greater monster.

Re: Tayshuan's potential
Behind RIP, Prince is hands down our most valuable starter from a future standpoint. Some of you probably remeber Chauncey calling him the best player on the team last year. That was cool of him to say that for Prince.

It wasn't just cool it was the truth, Did Prince win our boards team MVP award for last season?

You can take anything Billups says to the grave, thats what I love about him. That and he always pimps it out with the suits at the post game conferences. For me it is between those two for MVP of the team. We could talk about who is the MVP of the team all day, everyone brings something.

Re: Tayshuan's potential
I think if you give tayshaun maybe a year or two more, he will become one of the best defenders in the league, and make the all-nba first defensive team. (Maybe even defensive player of the year) And if he 3 percentages keep rising, i reckon he will become an all-star.

Re: Tayshuan's potential
Yea, welcome domo, hope you stick around. Tayshaun Prince has got a great oppurtunity to become one of the best players in the NBA. Whether he gets that far or not is really up to both him and our staff.
It kind of reminds me of the Colorado Avalance of the late 90's early 2000's, they would have there star players carrying there team until one year another player would just come out of no where and be an all-star. First that comes to mind is Milan Hejduk and another guy that escapes my memory. Tanguay maybe?
The same thing could happen, if we are lucky, to us. First it was Ben Wallace, then Rip broke out, now Chauncey is one of the highest touted point guards in the league, and soon enough our best player will be Tayshaun Prince. Just wait and see.

Re: Tayshuan's potential
For the record as a Detroiter, I hate Colorado Hockey... Anyone remeber when they almost killed Draper on the ice? Thank Goodness for McCarty and Osgood evening the score.
Now back on subject, Prince looks primed for a breakout and has been Dumars best draft pick so far. If he does breakout, any picks for the guy after him?

Re: Tayshuan's potential
My guess is Prince will take the defensive player of the year award away from Ben soon. I think he is easily going to be one of the best because he is surrounded by so many good players and coaches that will work hard to make him the best he can be. I can't wait to watch him this season.
