Delfino...
What do you expect out of this guy next year? From everything I've heard(which isn't a lot) he looked pretty bad in the summer league in addition to being out of shape. He was a solid contributor earlier in the year, but once that knee injury took it's toll he obviously wasn't the same player.

Re: Delfino...
I don't know much about it either, all I will say is I have a bad feeling about him. I don't know anyone that doesn't. That knee injury really screwed him and us at the same time.

Re: Delfino...
He has said many times his knee doesn't feel right still. Being out of shape isn't a huge concern since he probally isn't pushing himself to hard because he thinks his knee is still wrong. As Dice said though, once you have a knee operation, it's never the same, so who knows if Delfino will be mentally ready any time soon. If he comes back out of shape still in a few months or unhappy, I see no reason why he doesn't get some NBDL time. If he comes back in shape, then he will probally get some PT with the real Pistons. He has a lot of potential but he needs to get his mind in the game.

Re: Delfino...
At highest form 7ppg lowest 3.5 if he gets enough shots and minutes. I feel his 3 pointers will start to fall in place for him.

If he comes to training camp like he did the summer league, he's going to get 2003-2004 Darko minutes.

If he comes to training camp like he did to the summer league, I say don't even give him a spot. That is rediculous, Delfino is being a baby.

Re: Delfino...
If Delfino is a no go to help our team this year, how would everyone feel about bringing back Jon Barry? Just from a little vetern leadership and some 3 point shooting. Not to back up the 2/3 because Mo has that but to atleast be a help with shooting when we needed it. I can't find for sure but I believe Jon is an FA at the moment. Just throwing something out there to talk about.

I like Jon's game aLot. He averaged 6.8 ppg in the playoffs and .478 on threes. Thats good enough for any bench

The 3 point percentage is what I want. He probally would play for the vet minimum and he would finish out the small 3 point shooting need we have.

Re: Delfino...
He would be been perfect lol oh darn
Other names we could look at for near minimum deals if Carlos Can't help:
Dajuan Wagner - If he didn't get hurt all the time he would be a decent player. His shooting isn't really great from 3 either.
Greg Buckner - Coming off a season where he shot over 40% from 3 land, would be a steal at the LLE.
Casey Jacobsen - Would probally sign for the minimum and has a good stroke/form from the outside.
Walter McCarty - He's an UFA so I just thought I would throw him out there. Probally doesn't take the LLE either though. On the upside we can offer him just as much as the Suns.
Remember we are just talking if Carlos isn't able to play or help the team. Which may or may not be.
