Why doesn't Okur start?

Not to take anything away from Cliffy but I think Okur should be starting. He's a better rebounder I think and has better post moves. They both shoot the long ball pretty well so why not?

This is an interesting point that I can't put an exact reason on why we don't. Here is what I am coming up with as to reasons for Cliff's case:

He's more experienced. He's been in the league for a long time and provides a good type of leadership on the court. Okur is still a rookie and has room for growth as the years go on.

Cliff is the better defender. Vastly underrated throughout the league Cliff Robinson is one of the best interior defenders in the league. Memo isn't there yet.

Cliff also has that nice pick and roll play going for him. The pick, spot up for the "j" or use the pump fake and dribble by. He does this with great efficiency.

Memo is a better rebounder, and I think he could provide the same amount of scoring. I think there are other reasons in Cliff's favor as well.

If we keep losing maybe Carlise will mix it up a bit.
