...how different of a result to you expect? In the past few years, and first ever allowing zone defense Minnesota has stood out as the team that actually uses it to their advantage. Since we have Flip we can expect our team to do the same. The only different thing is we have a roster built for zone defenses. If a team is as dedicated to man to man defense as ours was imagine what we could potentially boast now that we have a coach willing to give zone a try. I know we've discussed this in other threads here and there but this is actually humoungous news for our team.

Nice to hear that Flip is actually integrating zone defense with the Pistons renowned man-to-man defense. I hope guys like Sheed are willing to adapt to the change.

I think they will. If there is any team that can mix it up and play zone once and a while and really shut down the passing lanes and movement on the floor, it is the Pistons.

Zone will be used a lot more then he is leading on to. With this roster, it should be a bread and butter play.
