Mv7
We all know, our starters will be the same as last years, no complaints but if we are looking for a little bit of a change look no further then out bench. Of course there is the returning bench champion, Antonio McDyess, so let's leave him out...but what about our other options. Will Carlos Arroyo return to Olympic form? Under a new coach he could. What about a rejuvenated Carlos Delfino? Or perhaps even the legend himself? Darko Milicic? Or will it be one of the new guys, most likely JMAX? Could it be Dale Davis?
A good team has an awesome 6th man, but a great team has an awesome 7th man. I'm still undecided.

Re: Mv7
I can't decide. It's between Darko, Arroyo, Delfino, Hunter and Evans.
That's quite a lot of options. I'll go out on a limb and say Evans.

Re: Mv7
Ill pick Darko, cause he will play well enough to keep Ben and Sheed rested throughout the season, I would also like to note that Evans and Delfino will also be pretty valueable if they continue to play like they have. They are both able to create their own offense as well as create for others.

Re: Mv7
a one-two punch of Darko and Dyess off the bench will completely overpower teams bigs coming off the bench. We got Wallace X2 and D-squared!

Re: Mv7
I was all set to pick Evans, but then I just got too excited about Darko Milicic.
It's funny because the most talented player on our bench hasn't got any votes yet, Carlos Arroyo. Which reminds me, grr, I hate Larry Brown*!
*At least I hate the fact that our young guys didn't do much of anything.

Re: Mv7
Mo Evans, for sure. He is currently leading in scoring during preseason, so I think he will do well during the regular season.

Re: Mv7
It's Maurice Evans. I think he is going to get the most minutes behind dice. Darko isn't even going to be the first big off the bench.

You're right, Dice is, but do you think Dale Davis would get in before Darko too?

Re: Mv7
Darko will get in for Davis for sure. I'd want to spilt my vote between Mo and Darko for that reason.

Re: Mv7
Arroyo. If Chauncey is out with fouls or injury in a tight game, Arroyo is the only one that can play the point at the level we would need the entire game. I really like his display of basketball this preseason including the ejection. He gets my vote.

Re: Mv7
1. Evans
2. Arroyo
3a. Delfino
3b. Darko
5. Dale Davis
I think Darko and Dale Davis will end up splitting time. It won't be a situation like Elden Campbell where Davis doesn't play until the playoffs (and actually only against Shaq). After the first couple of games we'll probaly have an idea of how much time Darko will get, but with Evans looking so good in the pre-season, much better than Delfino, and Darko pretty much playing the same position as Dice it's pretty clear to me that Evans will have a bigger impact than Darko... at least right now. Darko's biggest presence off the bench right now will be his defense.
