Will Big Ben do it again?

He's got a shot. Of course, I'm talking about leading the league in rebounds and blocked shots in the same season. This is quite a feat he accomplished last year, and he could do it in back to back years if he can pull it off again. He has a stranglehold on the rebounding half right now. He's easily out ahead of Kevin Garnett. As for the blocks portion he currently sits third behind Theo Ratliff and Tim Duncan. He's 12 blocks behind Theo right now, but Theo has played in two more games. 12 blocks is all he needs to make up on Theo with 24 games left to be played. This is quite a player we have the privilage to watch in Detroit. He rivals the run that Rodman had with the Pistons. Which brings up another question: who was better The Worm or Big Ben?

I just watched Rodman with the Bulls but he was amazing. However, so is Ben Wallace. I can not decide between those two.

In regards to your first question. I think he can and will do it.

Rodman was great with the Bulls, but even better with the Pistons as hard as it may be to believe. His awesome defense is sometimes overshadowed by his knack for getting to the ball and getting every single rebound. Give Ben a couple of years, and with the way he is playing he will surpas The Worm for sure. Right now it's a tough call, that's how good I think Ben Wallace is.

I have loved Ben since his Wizards days. that's why I am soo pumped to see him do so great!

I borrowed an old 88 Finals game from my coach (where Isaih got 25 in the 3rd) and Rodman blocked Kareem like 4 times!!!

Another interesting question could be, do you think Ben will ever match the 34 rebound effort put forth by the Worm against Indiana? Anythings possible and with Wallace you never know. Unfortunately, I never saw Wallace with Washington. The first time I saw him was with Orlando, and I didn't realize how good he was until he was on our team.

I'm going to have to go with The Worm, but Big Ben should be renamed 'Nasty McNasty'.

I like it, but the Pistons already have a 'Big Nasty'. I like 'Big' Ben to avoid confusion. Plus, I like the big bell chimes.

If i remember correctly, Ben had 29 last season, and should've gotten 30. I thnk he is very capable.

Just checked the stats:

Ben's single game high for this season is 24 rebounds against Dallas.

His career high in rebounds is 28 which he did twice.
