I mean what do you say when you start out 7-0? There's not too much to ***** about right now. I can't see too many faults with this team right now, they are playing well from top to bottom. I guess we should expect them to beat every team by 30, and then have much more to talk about. I don't know, I'll take this little run.

You could certainly say they are playing with a chip on their shoulder:

Larry Brown departure + All the pundits picking Indiana and Miami = The Pistons making a conscious effort at going out and trying to win every single game.

Even though they've got some wins over some bad teams, I would have never expected such a good start. When has a Pistons team ever gone on a west coast swing and not lost a game? Seems like they always struggle out there.

They are a better team when they feel they have to prove something. I hope they can keep that chip on their collective shoulder all year.
